HAPPY CHI NEW YEAR :D
Dint rly celebrate CNY on the actual day itself, cos I had school and I'm stressed haha compact's coming so so fast !!! But I did celebrate on CNY's eve, as well as CNYeve's eve !

No family politics this year, or sitting on couches watching shows like huan zhu ge ge hahah just good food and good company (:

24JAN.
Went for a CNY carnival at UCL, saw some familiar faces..









And we calligraphed abit & lohei-ed (apparently it was london's longest lohei) lol.





Headed back to my brother's hall to do some work before gng to Graeme's house at Paddington which is omgg nice ! haha had steamboat before most of them got high on alcohol. Including my brother, which was quite an eyeopener.

25JAN.
Woke up early to rush back to my hall, wash up and go for a carboot sale at Battersea. Dint want to go initially but was glad I did cos it was totally worth it !! SUPER CHEAPPPP !!!! hahahaha bought a polaroid, a set of jacket vest & trousers, a heart-shaped pin, a H&M cardigan plus a topshop shorts for a total of 23.20pounds la ! Anyway just fyi, I dint go there to shop for recreational purposes but to source for garments for my project hor (the polaroid was an exception).

Headed to church and after that, we wanted to try out somewhere new and so Jiayi, Benj and I finally came down to two choices (Laughing Buddha & Rasa Sayang- not very appealing names I know) after much effort but we still ended up at the place we ate last sunday bcos Ryan intentionally/unintentionally did not hear what we were saying over the phone hahaha anyhows, he joined us later tgt with Ivan, Meiyin, Rae, Tina & her friend ! :D

Today, I managed to call and talk to a very special girl call Yulin haha she said that I shld give more information on how my day went ! Hmm I had peanut butter sandwiches for lunch (part of the saving $$$ plan) and we did some rly interesting and fun stuff during class today!

HAIAIAIAIAIAIEEEE IT'S SO SO VERY COLD ! I cant type propely so pardon me if there are any typos cos im just too cold to correct them. I had to resort to wraping myslef in what Wayne uses as mats for his cg meetings and I'm considering leaving my hair dryer switched on for good HAHA, just that it's abit noisy. GAAHHH so eerrieeetating.

The past three and the half weeks spent in Singapore feels like a dream la. I'm back in London, back to reality and back to getting use to everyth foreign agn. TSK.

Oh and ystd, I finally put on my retainers aft like.. about 2months of not wearing it ?!?!?! hahah HURTS LIKE CRAZY ! Ohweell, I dont wna be like Lionel & I like straigh teeth haha. Though I do miss my vampire look now and thn.

Anyway, I thnk i've been thkning too much for my own comfort.
& I've finally finished watching the whole of Little Nyonya & I think that yueniang and chenxi shld have just gotten tgt at episode 23 la, so annoying haha

Kamilla, Daniela and I stayed up to watch Mean Girls & then, Wicker Park on television on monday night ! We were all gushing over Josh Harnett hahahaha totally hilarious.

I had a preview of what Sunday's outing will be like today at cg ! haha cos Boris bought us the hummingbird cupcakes !!!! :D We played citadels after that, joined by Paul and Lisabel! & I was the DJ, selecting christmas songs to be played while playing the game hahahha Anyway, we went to Gourmet Burger Cafe for dinner instead cos they had a promotion gng on, 2-4-1 ! And I'm feeling much more christmasy than I did last year haha cant wait for tmr (minus sch)! (:

It may surprise some of you to know that Chua Wei Lin has been spending more money at Iceland than at a H&M store or an online blogshop. Yes, grocery shopping is taking over my money and time, my life !!!

I decided to take bus from college today and while trying to find my 344 bus stop, I found a megahuge Sainsbury and just wanted to look for ahem, chocolate milk (which was obviously an excuse to pop in because I only drink Tesco's). And ended up buying 12packets of muller yoghurt (buy 6 for 2.96pounds & get another 6 free okay! If I eat one every day, it can serve as a countdown to the end of sch ! Absolutely brilliant! ) and 2 pieces of salmon (99p each!!!! ), but no, dint get any choc milk or manage to find the 344 bus stop hahah

& Just the other day at Iceland, I had to struggle for a good five minutes before putting the two packets of Aero mint choc back on the shelves haha go Wei Lin ! WILLPOWER. But hey, I must say my dinner is looking and tasting better and better each night alright.

My first fried rice ! Doesnt look very fantastic but at least it tastes decent ! I cooked rice without a rice cooker okayyyyy hahah would love to have an egg to go with the rice but dint have any!

Had a good day today (: was productive and my tutors told me that my stuff are quirky ! Oh and that I like to use weird materials lol, but being an art student who just have enough for everyday expenses, I have to use weird materials since I dont have anywhere I can just take things from (eg. your mum's kitchen/ house trashbin/ dad's toolbox). But anyway, even if i have more than enough money, it just doesnt seem wise to spend 4pounds on a pair of gloves which will be cut, stitched and drawn on.

Yes, I'm gng to find the One Pound shop tmr.

It was Angie's birthday last friday ! So we decided to surprise her on wednesday after cg (:







Before that, had lecture in the morning but it was as good as not attending at all cos I was sleeping the whole time :/ I did managed to stay awake during the film La Haine but the fire alarm rang halfway through and I dint go back aft that haha went straight to the SU bar for In a Nutshell ! (:

Was busy trying out all the cupcakes made by different people, sugar overload hahah but i still like the ones Jenny, Kate, Jia and I baked (:



And aft everyth, I went to meet Julia and Maggie before heading down for Alpha (they served pasta & carrot cake this time! :D). Totally worn out but all's good, at least theres been some progress ;) & yay, about two more weeks left before sch ends ! Plus, alpha weekend away is coming in less than 7days !

Anyway, I'm so glad weekends are finally here ! That said, it's coming to an end already :( It's sunday now & I've still got my A1 paper & photos manipulation to do ! According to Rae, it'll snow later on in the early morning !! Not sure if that's a good thing haha snow's pretty, but freezing out there isnt.

Lol, today was good still. Had beef hor fun & icecream cone after that. Nope, dint have my mcflurry because I forgot that I was on a chocolate fast HAHA. Ahhh, im still craving for eggtarts though :( And steamfish, lol.

Scotland was amazing !
Had fun, i missed London though ! It's weird haha like, to have the same feeling of being back in Singapore from London when I arrived at London from Scotland. Anyhows, next monday's my assessment - STRESSED !!!
