Aye, this is weird strange.

Inside the snow globe on my father's desk, there was a penguin wearing a red-and-white-striped scarf. When I was little my father would pull me into his lap and reach for the snow globe. He would turn it over, letting all the snow collect on the top, then quickly invert it. The two of us watched the snow fall gently around the penguin. A very annoying thing happened last evening: my internet was suddenly down while I was chatting with miss Tan Yulin, Justine Chu and Ng Shiming >:O !!!!!! So anyway, I decided to meet Hongsheng, hoping that the internet will be up once I'm back. But no, internet was still down. & drinking coffee after dinner at Cafe Nerro was probably a bad idea. The coffee there is really power. I could only manage to sleep for about two hours here and there last night ! & What made it worse was that there was no internet to turn to !! And so, I was forced to do some work hahah oh and I started watching this Australian series, Summer Heights High ! It's a mockumentary; super lame.. but very entertaining

Anyhows, the days in London are long right now, just like how it was in Spain. Walked quite alot today with Hongsheng and we ended up chilling at Holiday Inn ! They have really good potato wedges, i tell you ! hahah and, I ended up exceeding my 5pounds-per-outing budget (yes, again) by ordering dessert :O



After looking at the picture, you cant really blame me right....... hahahaha HAIYAH.

& I cant believe the weekend went by just like that ! Singapore Day was just awesome ! Abit overwhelming, so many Singaporeans in one place in London ! Met so many old and new people ! haha too bad i dint take that many pictures cos my camera battery died on me !!!! :( But anyhows, I bought pandan cake just now ! And ! I've been a really happy girl so yay hahaha :D

I slept at 12am but woke up at 4am today. Which is weird. I've no idea whats my sleeping time frame now haha, though I dont think I've slept finished cos I had a bad dream. That said, I had a bad dream the previous night too and it was really strange too :O

And Restaurant City's down !! I've got an hour left before I need to go for school..

On a brighter note, tmr's Singapore Day !

I caught Fight Club the other night, it's REALLY GOOD ! If you've not seen it, go watch it pleaseee !!!!!! haha

& Last night, I slept at 8pm. Woke up at 3am, worked and wanted to take an hour nap at 8am but woke up at 1pm. GG.

Anyhows, I haven been losing hair since I braided about three weeks ago but last night, I managed to take out all of my braids, and lost quite an amount of hair! And surprisingly, it's not curly ! haha

And I had free dinner today ! haha cos I went for the Singapore day briefing. Being a volunteer sure has its benefits.

The vietnamese food was rly good !!!! And I'm sitting beside Imperial's top student ! GRahh


The shopping centre was supposed to be closed, hence the emptiness.

After this, all outings will be budgeted to no more than 5pounds. Must really saveeee and fight against foooood !!!! hahah

It's friday already !
And what have I been doing..? Hmm.
Well, I've moved from chinese emo songs to english ones hahah Running Away by Midnight Hour is such a nice song with great lyrics; i dont think i'll ever get sick of it ! & Yesterday by Leona Lewis has such an amazing tune ! Listening to music is really theraupetic, I tell you. And i rly dislike the fact that some songs are not to be played for more than 30seconds on my embedded imeem playlist ! >:O

Sissi and I talked till three in the morning and she's still asleep while I am still trying to set my body clock back to London's timing before sch starts again ! haha it's not even according to Singapore's timing zz !

Thanks to Sissi, I've been listening to emo songs by Jay Chou. & I've been watching 爱就宅一起. Not healthy, not healthy (mentally or academically) haha ohwell.

Had cg at my place ystd and the night before, I was packing and tidying up away as though I was gng to have a room inspection hahah but it's all good cos I've been wanting to clean up but had been lazy to, & now I can work properly !

Think I'll take out my braids soon but I rly donchhh know haha cos I miss normal hair but I've grown to lovveee my braids !

And I've finally reached the halfway mark of my sketchbook !! Go go go ! Lol, to think I wanted to finish at least two sketchbooks over Easter holidays.

Today sure brings back lots of memories.

Just two years back;
I went down the altar call with Lee Yiling.
I got to know Esther Debra Leong.
I first ate TCM with Wayne Choong & the cg till 1plus in the morning.

& Rewind back another six days;
I attended my first Easter drama at CHC, thanks to Derrick Chen.
I rmb we ate at changi airport's burger king after svc, and I told Yuanrong that he reminds me of Yulin ! & I got my first ride in Wayne's car. And there were also Chingfeng and Derrick in the car. And on that night, he went to pump petrol before sending me back haha

Time sure flies.

I find people confusing.

This is for two main reasons.

The first main reason is that people do a lot of talking without using any words. Siobhan says that if you raise one eyebrow it can mean lots of different things. It can mean "I want to do sex with you" and it can also mean "I think that what you just said was very stupid."

Siobhan also says that if you close your mouth and breath out loudly through your nose it can mean that you are relaxed, or that you are bored, or that you are angry and it all depends on how much air comes out of your nose and how fast and what shape your mouth is when you do it and how you are sitting and what you said just before and hundreds of other things which are too complicated to work out in a few seconds.

The second main reason is that people often talk using metaphors. These are examples of metaphors

I laughed my socks off.
He was the apple of her eye.
They had a skeleton in the cupboard.
We had a real pig of a day.
The dog was stone dead.

The word metaphor means carrying something from one place to another, and it comes from the Greek words meta (which means from one place to another) and ferein (which means to carry) and it is when you describe something by using a word for something that it isn't. This means that the word metaphor is a metaphor.

I think it should be called a lie because a pig is not like a day and people do not have skeletons in their cupboards. And when I try and make a picture of the phrase in my head it just confuses me because imagining an apple in someone's eye doesn't have anything to do with liking someone a lot and it makes you forget what the person was talking about.
